so what kind of mileage were yall getting

that's a bit better than the 3fe

I have found a 2002 with 200k for $5500. new timing belt a 180k , no rust. supposedly maintained. anythings to be looking for?

The more I look around , the less I like it. Missing the side steps, the spare tire, the key fobs, rear wiper.

i found it...2003 sequoia limited with 219k nice shape. needs radiator. $4200 gonna drive 3 hours to possibly get it tomorrow

ok its a sr5 model, no running boards. who wants to help me weld up some sliders?

I bought a 05 Sr5 5 edition. Bare bones as in no keyless remote. Maintenance on these things suck. As mine sits now it needs a front wheel bearing. When I pull up a hill around 2k rpms it starts to cut in and out. I think its a 02 sensor going bad. Definitely not the transmission. Still love it but I think I overpaid. $6500 with 183k on the clock.

well it does need a radiator. have all receipts since 45k..last timing belt/waterpump @ 191k. I am planning on new bearings, radiator, small 2-3" lift, tires **** how big can I go? expecting the starter to go but no issues there.

You dont wheel your truck and even say so as well as claim this is for work and wish for better mileage. So....

Why are you lifting it?

Why sliders?

I would like to build a mildly capable rig, although I do not intend to pound it on the rocks and collect dents. more like armor from the idiots on the road. I enjoyed wheeling but cannot afford any downtime on my truck, my toolboxes don't balance well on the goldwing

why not relegate the 80 to that... much more capable

Highly recommend the new'ish Bilstein 6112's - very nice on the front of the Tundra. Easily get 2" of lift that you can run 33's or 34's with. Not sure what to do on the back end, but am sure something is out there.

My sliders where from Stubbs welding. Great guy. I don't see a Sequoia option, but you might want to call Richard to discuss. $375 for my sliders, but shipping was $150. He will quote you a specific price at time of purchase based on steel prices at the time. My Tundra sliders are LONG tho in comparison :)

thanks Jamie
