For me, I have an A343f transmission. There is a cable coming from the rear of the transfer case which is turned and read by the speedometer. Seperate from that, there is a speed output sensor on the transmission itself. There is a clip that when removed will expose 2 pins. The sensor is held in by one bolt.

Hmm I will have to take a look. From what I've read it's only the one on the gauge cluster. It appears I have the same cable as you though
