HZJ73 ARB Springs

Hi - apart from picking up the phone and calling somehwere in Aus (which I will do if needed - suggestion on ARB dealer there?), I am really hoping someone in North America has ordered a ARB OME Dakar suspension kit for a 1992 HZJ73 with the 1HZ and has part #'s to share.

Are late 1980's BJ73/74 and early 1990's HZJ73 series frames one and the same regarding suspension mount geometry? Same pin diameters on the militayr wrap ends between BJ/HZJ??

I really would appreciate an answer to this:

For a front set of springs (heavy) for HZJ73 I have this part #: CS006F - is this the correct spring to order?

Rear spring (medium load) I have #CS017R A/B

I don not have an ARB dealer nearby and anything I do order I basically have one shot to get it right! (lots of frieght charges)

I got these numbers off a site that says "ARB LandCruiser 70,73,74 series", but no date on this info and my dealer said everything is available, but no help in confirming the correct parts!

The MWB all have 60 series springs on the rear and the same springs as any other leaf sprung 7* series on the front.

Hi All:

If your HZJ73 has leaf springs at all four corners then yes, those OME part numbers should work for you.

Are you ordering these parts in from "south of the border" (i.e. the USA?)
If so I'd suggest "Cruiser Outfitters" in Utah; Kurt is a MUD advertiser and is knowledeable about ARB/OME products.
