Hey all,

Today my wife purchased a 86 FJ60 5spd rig. It has been 8 years since she drove a standard vehicle. While following her home she stalled once and never used 5th gear. She really likes it.

Will tab it next week and throw the 3 car seats in the back.

You may of seen this rig before. Been around Seattle for a while. Was traded for a TJ, then impounded and purchased at auction. We purchased it from that person after Matt found it stuffed away on an unnofficial car lot in Snohomish.

When I pulled up to pay cash the mailman was asking about it.

all pictures are here

wow, 5spd, lift, larger mirrors, I'd call that a score! Dare we know how little you paid, for jealousy purposes??

Interesting running board/rocker protection...

Jealousy purposes... gah.. I best not tell you. The running boards I think are ARB Sliders with some plate. I was there when Basher put the Bash in the right rocker. 3 years ago? Reiter pit.

I've seen that 60 around a few times when I've been back home. The round headlights and 62 style mirrors always caught my attention. Looks like you got a good deal there.

Hells yeah. I keep forgetting to get a hold of you when I'm in town. I'm planning on coming home Halloween weekend for my buddy's party on Friday, so if'n you're around on Saturday I should be free (if I'm not hung the fxxx over).

Nice Score!

Hopefully soon my wife will ditch the rover and come to the dark side as well. Is the 60 going to make a guest apperance at the next cruiserheads meeting? Hope so and congragulations!

I here ya brother...Admit it, that is the best way to start collecting them...Get the wife driving them, then you do not catch as much grief (that is what I did, she drives the 80 more than I do and has her own vehicles).:p

Here is a better picture of it from when Basher owned it. He took the pictures about 2 to 3 years ago

It has:
Tuffy box
2 cigarette lighter power sources in the tuffy box
Ipod Connection in the tuffy box
Panasonic cd player
Alpine amp
and a few other cosmetic upgrades. Wife loves the rig.
