Thinking about doing the Hunter Lake trail this Saturday (July 15th)...anyone interested in going along?

I want to get up there with you Dan and take some photos of your rig. I am still down in Albuquerque at the moment though, I expect to be back in Reno for about a week at the end of the month.

That, depends on the quality of your beer muscle..

And the float tube, fins, chest waders, flyrod, reel, etc. It's only 4.5 miles but uphill...done it many times on MTB and foot but without all the gear.

Possible for next Saturday? I am heading out of town this weekend on a motorcycle trip. Would love to go, I have been up there many times, just not in the 80 yet.

Oh well, I guess we will have to figure out another time to get the Reno cruisers together.

Is that area still accessible these days? I thought that housing developments would've gulped up that area by now! Oh the memories, the memories from yester year! Have fun up there.

The many ways in have been reduced considerably, but there is still access (for now). Have you been out scouting your area?

Later,

What could you possibly fish for in San Francisco?
Never mind, don't answer that. Oh! you mean the Bay! ;)

Anyway............ I'm bummed, got called in overtime and now I'm in the weekend cycle for three more weeks. I might come up there and explore during the week.

We did over 50-miles on-trail yesterday with a couple 3+-3.5 sections; even used the winch a couple times (once to pull a Jeep out and the second to clear a downed pine). Depending on when you come up I might be able to shake loose for a morning to go with you. ..although this week is not a good week for me. Let me know.
