Long time lurker on the Mud forums. Picked up an 02' single owner decent maintenance records with 145k on the clock for $10,500. Mostly a southwest car (Four Corners) but had some use in Minnesota (minimal surface rust). Leather is in great shape throughout. Here it is the night I brought it home:

Traded the Trail for a 15' GX460 (150 series) so we could get a 3rd row. Decided the thing is too nice to start wheeling a lot so realized it was time to sell the jeep and get into a Hundy. So glad we did. Kids where sad to see the jeep go but love the 100.

Programmed a new fob with a little help from my friends (100 series FAQ).

First Time on the trail (Glade Run/ChokeCherry Canyon).

letting the 10 year old start driving (off-road only, low range in 1st with the hand on the e-brake). Love the fact that the e-brake is a traditional handle not a pedal.

Built a shovel and axe mount, the shovel sits a little higher than I would like so I will work on getting it closer to the top of the basket, ideally a longer and more HD basket is in order.

Dif fluids changed, coolant flushed, t-case fluid changed, tranny fluid changed and power steering fluid changed. The timing belt and serpentine belt had been replaced within the last 20k so that and the water pump where not done but I had them do new plugs and injectors.

Ordered some Trail Tailor full plate textured sliders.

Looks good man! I went and liked your page. I grew up in Mancos and go back there several times a year. I might see you out on the trails sometime!

Plastidipping the side moulding is a great idea! I had to replace a piece of mine and the lack of uniformity is killing me; this is a great solution to that!

Sounds good, I grew up in Grand Junction and went to college in Durango. Once the snow melts we will be in the high country. Looking like a short window this year.

Thanks, the whole project only took 5 hours from prep to peel. I do recommend doing at least 3 coats for this kind of application. The other idea I was throwing around was vinyl wrap but plasti-dip is just so user friendly and re-doable (compared to paint). Its held up well in this application thus far.
