Eric M. came by tonight to borrow my 54MM hub socket and it wasn't in the case with the rest of the front end tools. I've loaned it out so many times that I can't remember who borrowed it last or if it came back.

Does anyone have it and the beam torque wrench or do I need to move the garage cleaning way, way up the todo list?

I know nothing about socket or wrench but I have seen the garage.....

BTW I need to return the jack. I'm getting speedier with transmission yanking and installing this little 2 day job only took 6 weeks this time :D. Coming through on Monday, I'll call about dropping off the jack.

I won't mention BlackDog's name. But last time he borrowed mine, he said he also had to borrow yours too because mine wasn't working for him.

This is too funny. I used my 54mm hub socket as an example the other day at work. A coworker wouldn't let another coworker borrow a tool to take home. So I let him use my precision screwdriver to take home. But I told the stories of loaning out my 54mm hub socket, explaining that it is one tool that I DO NOT like loaning out, becuase there is no replacement for it, and you can't get it a the walmarts. Not even Sears! Their 54mm sockets are too big.

I'd almost rather give someone $15 for them to buy their own from IPOR than loan mine out... it's truly that valuable when needed. Mainly, because EVERYTIME I've loaned it out... I've had to track it down. Borrowers do not respect the power of this simple socket tool...

I hope the person that borrowed them was not my brother. Loan him tools and when you ask for them, he says they are his and he doesn't loan tools because people don't always return them.:bang:

DAYUMMMMM

I STILL HAVE IT!

I knew I gave Speeder his back and I thought I had given yours back to you. I have to make a trip that way in about an hour to pick Stephanie up from work. I will drop it off this afternoon. So Sorry I left you hanging.

Like I lectured everyone who's ever borrowed mine: This is a tool that's worth WAY more than it's cash price... It's only $15 to buy! That's it, but DANG, nothing else compares to it when you need it...
I'd rather give someone $15 to buy one than loan mine out. Mainly because every person who's borrowed it I've had to call to get it back. LOL.

Cool. Cool.
This begs the question... We really need a club workplace. I been wishing I was on my own property by now, but hopefully by summer.... and I want a SHOP. It could be open to club members and tools, tools tools.
I got made fun today because I had a pitman arm puller in pelican case.... My little black pelican case can dis-assemble the entire 80... That's almost NOT a joke.
