Hub-Centered Wheels

I'm looking for a set of 15", or 16" black wheel for my Cruiser. My parts guy says he has no hub centered wheels for a LC, and that he will have to special order a set. He also claims Hub centering does not matter with 6 lug nuts thus I could purchase his generic set.
Is he pulling my chain?

Yea, what truck are you trying to fit the wheels on, a older FJ40, FJ60 or early FJ80. Any thing after 93 unless it had drum brakes will not fit the 15 inch rims very easy unless you grind on the claipers or have a different offset than stock. later robbie

How about picking up a set of those aluminum toyota 15x7 wheels used on early 80's and 4runners and having them anodized black?
