Anyone know how to remove the rear 1/4 molding? I have a bad feeling that it's glued to the glass??

Mine has cracked over time in a few different places and I'm looking to replace it.

Thanks guys!

Oh - be aware! That is the secret visual sign that you have a genuine Toyota Landcruiser - I am told that if it is not cracked, then the chances are you have a fake model. ;-)

LOL, mine must be real genuine. It's cracked in three different places on each side.

Same problem here. My issue was at the bottom of the window. Plasti-dip to the rescue! Hard part is removing all the factory coating so new coat looks uniform.

What is plasti dip?

Rubber paint. Literally the stuff you dip tool handles in, but now comes in hundreds of colors and sprays. Used to only be black red yellow or blue. It has become the poor man version of line x , is favored by the rice rod crowd and peels off easily. Lasts 5 years when exposed to uv

I would not compare plasti-dip to line-x, no matter how much money someone does or doesn't make. Easy to work with and remove if you don't like finished product.

So do I just yank the plastic strips off or...? Heat gun??
