How to install rear view Camera?

Hello,

I've got a 2012 LC79 and I just ordered a Sony Head Unit and Rear View Camera, what is the easiest way to install the rear view camera.

Note:

I have a bedliner installed and a tow hitch, I would like a simple and effective way for this.

Has anyone installed it before ? Any pics ?

What kind of mounting junk comes with it?

There are mounts that attach to your license plate mounting bolts. Nice option for the utes if you run a standard rear license plate. There is a bunch of flat space between the tailgate and tbe bumper where you could easily mount a camera.

I understand....
In reality to use the word "bumper" is a bit of a stretch. That thing would crumple like a cheap beer can even in a minor collision.
It can best be described as a "expensive step" more so than a bumper.

Can't use strong, stout, or substantial so fancy will have to do. It does however make a nice step.

"Nice step"! Yes! It does make your life more easier when you want to hop up to bed.
