Would you know a link which explains how to decode toyota part numbers e.g. alternator 27020-56130... based on model, year etc... on group of numbers: 27, 020 56 etc...?

Thank you very much for the answer...yes, I know the site but what I really wanted is how to decode that number... I seen somewhere on the internet but could not find it anymore...meaning, what each group of digits means because I want to use those in order to find compatible parts by myself... thank you again.

Hello Onur, when possible could you be so kind to send the other pages that give more detail about signification, like the last one with bullets...? it is necessary because when I analyzed as an example an alternator which generic part number is 27000 because of missing bullets that explain the first 5 digits block in detail I could not figure out where is different 020 from 040... but in case of last digit from last block I was able to identify that it is a major change... thank you very much in advance.

Thank you for posting this link. I didn't realize ToyoDIY decoded part numbers to vehicles. This is a HUGE help.
