Hey guys, I'm hoping to pull the plug on a 2013 LC, and as I was pondering all the fun things I plan on doing with it...lift, tires, etc., I got to thinking, will it fit through my garage door? I found out the stock height is 74", and obviously logic says that if I add a 2.5" lift and some taller tires, I should gain about 4" or so, which would put it right at 78". Could some of you with lifts measure to the top of the roof rack and let me know what you have. Also, could you post lift and tire size? Thanks!

It's more like 5 to 6" with no load for me. My tires are 43 psi cold.

I'm lifted about 2.5" with 33" tires and any garage with less than indicated 6'10" clearance I avoid. I've rubbed the roof rack in a 6'9" garage. Thank goodness I caught it before it made any marks.

The front is easily adjustable. It's the rear that's the problem as I don't know any other spring setup other than ome. I run the softer 722s. 723s will sit even higher.

This speaks for the europe spec Land Cruiser 200 with AHC (adjustable height & dampers). In the US you can also look at the Lexus 570 to get that nice feature. Lift where you need it (track) And lowering where it is useful (highway).

Useful not just for the fuel usage, also for safety and a higher possible pace in corners, or if you had to dodge unexpectedly.

Ahc sucks for those who want to lift or run bigger, sexier at or mt tires.

My icon setup handles awesome.

Range rovers have air suspensions too. Only cool if you don't mind rolling stock on taxi tires.

also i'm sure others will support me on this but the AHC is the weakest link in the lc/lx vehicles (some lc in europe come with the AHC). not sure how the 200 series figures are but my 2 separate 100 seres both with over 100,000 miles the only thing that broke was the AHC

to give credit where credit is due, 4x4tripping did partake in an epic African journey in his AHC equipped 200 so i'm not casting aspersion on the functional value of air suspensions - it's just that it limits you a great deal if you want to run at any other height than stock. i'd totally be down if there was a ***reputable*** aftermarket AHC kit that integrates perfectly with factory buttons, designed to run lifted at 2.5"... like you can with your bread and butter adjustable coilovers... but then that would cost quite a bit more i imagine given the ecu/electronics involved.

so end of day, don't want it, don't care for it for my use case.

so for sh!ts and giggles, who here would vote for a diesel only USA 200, but it came only with AHC? my vote. NO.

Stock suspension, with 33" tires (vs 31.5" stock) and with the ARB roof rack, my LC is just over 7'2".

I found this out originally by getting wedged under a 7'2" parking bar that was not forgiving at all. Props to the aluminum roof rack for not bending - the truck's suspension just compressed (and the rack let out an awful noise as I reversed out)

I park in a 6'8" clearance parking deck. I have the stock roof rack. Just under 1" lift in rear, Radflos in front. 285s.
