Will be picking up my silver C package FJ next week and am concerned about it's height. Can anybody tell me exactly how high it is from the ground to the top of the rack? My sales guy says he thinks it is 78'' but wasn't positive. I have an 82'' high garage door so hope it'll fit! Thanks for any info - Tim

Wheelbase 105.9"
Track front & rear 63.2"/63.6"

The rack looks like 5" to 6" in the photos. So you're gonna be squeaking into the garage. Just add some bigger tires, that ought to get you there.

I had the same concerns. I measured 80 inches to clear the roof rack. Looks like your door will do.

This one just barely rubs as I drive in with an empty tank. Almost 1/4" clearance with a full tank.

Hi Rip - thanks very much for your info as well! - That makes me feel better as I was down at the dealer lot today and was chatting with a fellow who said he thought it wouldn't fit in a standard garage opening.Obviously he was wrong.rjp1 said:
I guess it depends what "standard" is - even with a 7' opening the garage door hangs down a bit. You should really measure from your foor to the lowest point to check it out. Although my garage is fine (8' door), I won't be able to park in my regular downtown parking garage (6'4" restriction).

OMG, crack me up! Caught me by surprise, almost spit my coffee out.
I keep knocking the radio antenna in parking garages (including my own) and it isn't that much of a delta from the tip of the antenna to the roof. I gotta say its a lot taller than I realized.
