? How Strong are TUBE Bumpers

In a major head on crash I would have to say the ARB simply because of how few welds are in the structural part of the bumper itself, the way its broken as one solid piece of metal would help the impact to spread all the way through the surface instead of collapsing in on itself like tube tends to do when it gets "dented".
The ARB can survive a LONG time getting dented.
For what its worth though i have a tube bumper, it weighs next to nothing, I love the look, and i built it myself. I recently used to it push a broken down FJ40 2 miles out of the trail with no more than a few scratchs that a little paint will fix in a tic.
