I bought a really really clean 86 FJ 60 with a newly rebuild locked up motor for $1,800.
I bought a great running 84 FJ 60 with an overheating issue for $300. The overheating issue was that the fan cover was left off the the black mat from under the hood was stopping the fan. The rig is in great shape but the A pillars were rusted out.
