I let the
DD the Cruiser since she has slightly less commute - averaging around 14mpg usually ends up averaging $400/month just for the Cruiser. Mostly buy gas from Costco since it's usually $0.25-.30 cheaper than regular stations - and 4% back doesn't hurt the decision. Luckily gas is going down lately - this morning premium was $4.07 when I was filling up the Corolla. I DD the Corolla since I get 38mpg with a lead foot - probably average $125/month on gas for that car. I don't drive my pickup that much (or let the
drive it because no airbags or swaybars, and rear locker), but it gets around 19mpg.
Man, I need to get another motorcycle, I miss my 55mpg....also considering replace Corolla with '12 Yaris SE, which gets 47mpg w/5spd.
