How much do you spend monthly on gas for your LC/LX?

I let the :princess: DD the Cruiser since she has slightly less commute - averaging around 14mpg usually ends up averaging $400/month just for the Cruiser. Mostly buy gas from Costco since it's usually $0.25-.30 cheaper than regular stations - and 4% back doesn't hurt the decision. Luckily gas is going down lately - this morning premium was $4.07 when I was filling up the Corolla. I DD the Corolla since I get 38mpg with a lead foot - probably average $125/month on gas for that car. I don't drive my pickup that much (or let the :princess: drive it because no airbags or swaybars, and rear locker), but it gets around 19mpg.

Man, I need to get another motorcycle, I miss my 55mpg....also considering replace Corolla with '12 Yaris SE, which gets 47mpg w/5spd.

Wow.
I live 6.5 - 9 miles from work depending on if I take the 405 to the 10 or take surface streets.
I get about 15mpg in the morning and 10-13 on the way home. Average 250-500 miles a month.

I spend about $90-200 a month on gas for the 100. 87 octane gas is $4.30ish at Costco here.

But I only drive the 100 to work once a week unless it's raining. The other days I take a motorcycle, scooter or bicycle. And I drive it maybe one day over the weekend and take it off-roading once or twice a month.

whatever it is for me I have an 8 mile drive to work and love driving the 100s. Plus it is still less expensive to keep driving the 100s every where, then have another car with payments, insurance, maintenance and upkeep. But.. I am always looking for an excuse to buy another diesel land cruiser or converted 4 runner for a solo daily driver..

This is starting to sound a little like a support group here…

I think i won this one unfortunately. Gas for me costs about 90.50 and i fill up 3 times a week (long school commute/off road trips) so I'm at around $1,086 a month.

Holy smokes! Very off topic but what do you do for living? How many miles on your cruiser?

bout 45 bucks averaged over the year. driving isnt too much of an option in DC and my cannondale runs on chipotle, primarily.

I'm at 112,000 but I've only been driving 2 years or so, i believe i got it with 79-80,000 miles on it from my folks. As for work, I work at a ski resort. Sorry done hijacking.

$400 a month or so. It's my daily driver, still don't drive it to work though (parking is too expensive in DT Chicago, plus it don't fit in most garages). We are around $4.30 a gallon for the cheap stuff.

400 a month or so, bout a tank a week. How many miles are yall safely getting out of your cruisers between fillups?

About $130 a week, which averages out to be $563.33 per month, Give or take a penny obviously.

About $80 per week just in DD to and from work. But, I'm usually fishing somewhere so $200 a week is more the norm. Worth every penny.

About 500 $ per month, at over 8 $ a gallon.

That's the diesel, -- for a gas version, add about 30 % to the monthly cost for higher consumption and higher fuel price.

< 50 bucks a month (averaged out over the year).

I just drive the 42mpg Civic to work when I can.

 seriously??? I wouldn't be driving ANYTHING at $8/gallon.
That's easy to avoid - just stay out of most of Europe.
(Today only 7.80 per gallon)
