How much actual lift can I expect?

I'm planning to replace my old springs with a set of OME "stock height" springs (861/862 I think). My measurements right now, from center of the hub straight up to the bottom of the fender flare, are about 19.75" in front and 20.50" in the rear. How much lift should I expect with the new springs?

Hoping for about 1-1.5" or so. Does that sound about right?

Oh yeah - stock bumpers and no armor. I plan on an ARB no-winch front bumper "someday".

I just installed mine, it was about 1.5" at both fenders - probably depends how bad you are sagging

bhmmapping,

Looks good! That first photo looks almost exactly the same height as mine (subjectively)... Did you measure yours before/after? Either way, do you have a center of hub to fender flare measurement as it is right now? That will give me a good idea of where it will end up.

I want a LITTLE bit of lift, but want to avoid going with a full 2.5" OME lift and messing with caster correction and all that. Two reasons are 1) only have 265's on it and it would look goofy with those tires and a 2.5" lift, and 2) MOST importantly, the spousal unit will probably bitch about a 1-1.5" lift.

Just measured it at 21 1/4 in the front and 20 3/4 in the back - I think the roof rack is weighing the back down a little, and I do have some boxes in the back also. I lost the before measurements, so I can't tell you exactly, it was about 1.5 inches overall though.

Thanks! My front is at 19.75" right now, so if it goes up to 21.25" with the springs, that is right on 1.5" lift... Exactly what I was hoping for.

Nice inflight action shot with the dove.......:D

Id like a small amount of lift since I've gone to 285/75's just to provide a bit more room in the fenderwells. I dont want the roof up higher, due to loading boats/kayaks/canoes on the roof alot. I might have to look into that as an option.

That looks great and where I will probably wind up. What shocks did you go with and how does it ride? I will be in the same configuration with stock bumpers and no extra weight for the time being. I don't want it so stiff that rides like my old OME'd 60.

Also, does anybody know if the center hub to bottom of flare measurments are the same for us 450 types?
