For stupid reasons, the turn stop bolt on my LCA is missing. I need to replace it but before i do, i am curious... From center, how many turns of the steering wheel can you make before you can't turn anymore (full lock)? If you can turn 2 full turns and a little, how much is that little? (using a clock as reference, ie. 2 turns and then to 9'oclock for a left) I'm hope someone can help. I adjusted both of them, lost one and now i wanna return it to stock.

For up to 7 2002 production:
3.8 turns lock to lock, that's a rack-stroke of 7.01 in.

From 8 2002 onwards:
If you don't have vgrs: 3.3 turns.
With vgrs: 2. 4 to 3.5 turns, depending on speed.

PS: This is for the LC. I suppose it's the same for the LX.

adjust it so the tire doesnt rub the frame..

I thought about that. Then I wondered, what if that number of turns is more than stock and what if the amount of turns that comes from the factory is the magical setting where it maximizes the turning radius while putting the least amount of stress on the CV joint. I don't know... Perhaps i'm being paranoid. :meh:

Thanks. How'd you find this info?
