Hi folks, the title says it all. Just wondering cause during cooling flush I must have removed and reattached those squeeze type hose clamps twelve times each. They seem solid and i assume that as long as you dont deform them they will work a long long time but just wanted to ask. BTW, how many have switched from those squeeze types to the regular worm gear hose clamps? Thanks, full of questions today!!!

I prefer those clamps. I got a bunch from the boneyard when I replaced all the hoses on my rig.

Personaly I like the toyota clamps, still have the original ones on my 19yr old pickup. Some people may say the can weaken overtime but I have not found this to be true. The clamps seem to be made of stong material that retains thier strength. The "air plane" or "worm screw" seems to cut into the hose if you over tighten, and if you don't get it right the first time you'll have to keep checking on them till they are tight enough.
I have used both and both seem to work fine, I just like to use OEM parts and the oem clamps have never let me down.
