I've posted this in the '60/62 wagon forum too but it may get more readership and replies here.

I got a factory PTO winch from an HJ61 and I am installing it on my BJ60.
There are captive nuts and holes for the forward pillow block but NO HOLES
OR CAPTIVE NUTS for the rear pillow block. I KNOW I've got it in the right
holes at the front because everything else lines up. Did the BJ60 PTO winch
driveline have only one pillow block? It looks like it would work if the
shaft was straight without a "U" joint and the first pillow block after the
gearbox was eliminated, but I don't know if it places undue strain on the
remainder of the driveline. I could use the other pillow block and support
on the FJ55/3B restoration if it's not needed here (I'm missing a pillow block support and the pillow block is rather rusty).

Any comments from those who are lucky enough to have these as an option?
FWIW the Toyota manual diagram shows it with only one pillow block but I
don't know if that's a BJ/HJ/FJ40, 60 or 70.

Next question is the part number for the shear pin for these PTO winches?

From the LCML, thanks Dave,

Does anyone have a dealer that will order non-USA/Canada parts? The shear pin for the '60 series PTO is a non-USA/Canada part number 90255-04002. I've got a couple of 90255-04002 from my dealer just in case.
My PTO is now installed and operational!!
The install was bolt in with the exception of the modifications to the tranny hump to clear the shifter mechanism (there is insufficient clearance unless the tranny hump is bent towards the drivers side in the shifter vicinity by 1/4 - 1/2").

Up to 1984 yes. After 1984 it was a three part shaft with two blocks.

If you can do it just cut and sleeve the shaft.

Depends on the year and model of the winch. The later pins (late model
small geared 70 series winch) are about the best but they are 5.05 mm think
so you will have to drill out your pin hole.

90255-04001 80/08 to 82/10
90255-04002 82/10 to 87/08

The late 70 pin is 90240-05004 and the keeper is 90468-12018
