How many pics can u upload

I see that the guy was able to upload 9 pics.

I've only been able to do 3 at a time and then the max is normally 4 before it tells me no more.

what is the limit and how is it determined?

those are externally linked, meaning "unlimited" per post.

I just tried again and got "exceeded - and says " sum of all attachments owned by thelal: 487.8 KB

Can u zap previous pics or do I do that?

you can....check your UserCP, believe the last option is Attachments....allows you to manage them there.

Yep - that wprled and it made it a lot clearer. I had 10 pics so had to zap some to free up space.

after i upload the pic then make a link or attach the pic using

you don't use the IMG tag if you upload a pic....uploading occurs when you post the reply in the message and is automatically attached/viewable.

Note : Previewing a message with a pic will dump the pic .. and it won't show up .

so when i delete the uploaded pic from my attachments the pic in the forum will also be erased. hmmm wish had a bigger limit.

attachment folders are available in 3 sizes.....

20 and less posts = small folder, enuf for 3-5 pics....setup for those who post once with a for sale item and don't return to the forum....

20+ posts = larger folder, probably enough for 15-20 pics.
