thinking about changing my steering looking at the 4x4 labs kit just wonder if I will have problems with tierod hitting links or frame anyone got it on a 3 link?On my 40s maiden voyage I bent the damn tierod again looks like a horseshoe I am sick of that thing taking a beating!

with my SOA, the tie rod just clears the spring packs....like 1/4"...perfect. Luke can/will bend them to the height you need. "best" bet will be with your fancy dancy $10 angle finder and some measurements... ;)

Also, his rods and ends are beefay....not much bending chance anyways.

4x4 labs steering arms

HI i run the 4x4 labs steering arms my set up is as follows 83 fj60 sprung over stock springs,i use 4x4 labs rear steering arms ,ahh but wait to runn these i run a small block chevy 93 tbi painless wiring harns mated to a 4l80e and stock transfercase ! to controll trans i use compushift controller . Now to answere your question . i notice a huge diffrence for the better in the ablity to turn on a dime. steering is sweet ,but to be fair i use a 96 dodge 1500 power steering pump. better pressure. this is a saginaw pump .

I installed it on a customers truck, along with a ram assist unit last spring. Seems to work very well.

Luke is a great guy, and strives to make sure you are satisfied with your steering modifications.
