How many breathers?

After we got nearly 4 inches of rain this afternoon - 20 miles away got over 7 inches - and navigating around run-of-the-mill street flooding left me thinking about what I need to do to move the breathers.

But looking at some go the articles and web out there as well as the forum posts here left me a bit confused about the number of breathers on the GX 470's.

One of how-to's I read previously for a 120 series mentioned an additional breather on the E-locker. Does the GX have one?

Found a bunch of nice threads over on Pradopoint.com.au but with their different engine and transmission options, I ended up a bit confused.

We routed our rear diff up and I know there’s another in the engine bay but I don’t know exactly what it’s valved to.

GX does not have an elocker so no. There is one on the front diff that vents near the steering shaft in the engine compartment. There is a cap on the rear axle that can be extended to the fuel door easily. There are also one on the top of the transmission that is not fun to get to.

Any write-ups on the Transmission one? Do most people mess with it?

And any other must do’s that you would do for water?

(And you gotta love sub-tropical sudden deluges that aren’t forecast 12 hrs before. Heard of a number of people swamped just park d on the street in the area that got 7” in less than 3 hours.
