Someone has an 80 series front end in one?

A solid axle swap might remove some of the :rainbow:

operative word was 'some'....

NOWHERE did it insinuate 'all'....

You told me you were putting Dana 60's in yours......

It'll be a long time, Steve... Unless you run a Marlin MC09 adapter and old-style tcases, you'll never be able to run an FZJ-80 axle... the new "Cruiser" is a Driver's side drop tcase... That makes a Dana44 out of a JEEP the most likely candidate for axle donation... :D :D

EDIT:

Given it's a 4Runner w/ an Element body, that means it's also using an 8" front diff, Rack and Pinion steering mounted in front of the diff... and it also means that the frame rails will be too wide to run the shackles through the frame (just like taco's) forcing a person to mount shackles below the frame, or run shackle in front... Unless someone wants to do some work and adapt an 80-series style trailing arm front suspension to a Dana axle (or Front Range Off-Road Fab housing, I ugess), SAS's will be stuck with hokey designs.
