How is everyone faring from the rain/winds?

At approx 7:15 lost the biggest tree in my back yard. Good news is it fell straight back (best case) bad news is I had just spent a bunch of time and money getting back yard just the way we wanted it. Laid a huge oak down so now have to call someone in to cut up and haul off including root ball. Chainsaw and bobcat job of about 2 hours - just hate to see what folks are going to want to charge for that.

Hope no one has anything substantial.

No power since yesterday. Just came back on 10 minutes ago. Don't you just love the power company?

No damage to our house but we woke up at 3:30 to a fire truck honking the horn in front of the house four houses down. I don't know what happened exactly but flames were shooting out of the roof.

Sorry to hear about the tree, hopefully it won't be too expensive.

Nothing but rain down here, and not as much as predicted. No strong winds, no lightning, and now colder than what I would expect for September.

This is what it looks like from the deck. I had just gotten my backyard the way I wanted it - cleared a huge area, laid 6 pallets of sod and built a go kart track (Santas coming).
