Got my 8N ready and waiting..fully fueled and battery on maintain
That baby is fun to steer with a full bucket, isn't it. I had an 8n with that setup on it, oh man.
So you understand! Yep… It is a bear. It would lift a full bucket of R-Blend crushed concrete but I could not turn the wheel at slow speeds so much of that was done in less than 1/2 buckets. That bucket was modified some where along the line and is a bit over 6’. With 4 bolts, it comes of and back to the original.
The framework to support that thing is also a major impediment to the seat. I start at the back blade and 6 steps later I can plop down on the seat. At this age I don’t know how long I can keep doing that
Hope everyone affected by this storm stays warm and dry. Looks like it could rough across the plains, mid-west, and up into the northeast.
7 degrees outside with negative 7 wind chill. Snow thankfully didn’t materialized like they thought it would.
9” expected on second round. Still have 3-4 “ on ground, light stuff like we had in Steamboat due to cold. Not the typical wet snows we usually get here in Oklahoma.
My wonderful wife turns 52 today, just fixed her breakfast. Good couple days in shop until we get on each others nerves!
Hope everyone affected by this mess is warm and safe.

Bailed on hunting trip with buddies I grew up with this weekend near Oklahoma Texas state line. They got hit with freezing rain, then sleet now snow. Sure makes traveling dang near impossible.

Happy birthday mrs greenbeast! My wife’s is Monday. Bundled up to let chickens out in 1* with windchill of -11. Usually do my laps around the property to get my steps in. Normal morning is 9 laps for 3 miles. Today did one lap and decided the recumbent would have to do.
A couple of Birthday wishes going to to women who put up with our antics!
Kim spent morning yesterday getting her chickens ready for cold. Rooster going after it this morning so guess all is well over there. Off to refill the generator for water heaters.
Well we wish her the best on her birthday also, think after 30 years she has figured marrying down to my level turned out ok…
