Hope everyone affected by this storm stays warm and dry. Looks like it could rough across the plains, mid-west, and up into the northeast.
It got a little cool here. It was 8F, but felt like 0.
My friends in Rapid had -8F, so I guess it's all relative.

7 degrees outside with negative 7 wind chill. Snow thankfully didn’t materialized like they thought it would.

9” expected on second round. Still have 3-4 “ on ground, light stuff like we had in Steamboat due to cold. Not the typical wet snows we usually get here in Oklahoma.

My wonderful wife turns 52 today, just fixed her breakfast. Good couple days in shop until we get on each others nerves!

Hope everyone affected by this mess is warm and safe.
Happy Birthday!!! I hope you all had a blast!

35 and raining here, going to continue to drop through the day and get really fun. Definitely a couple days inside, not worth driving in ice & snow in central Texas 🤪
That sounds like you're fixing to make a skating rink down there...

Happy birthday mrs greenbeast! My wife’s is Monday. Bundled up to let chickens out in 1* with windchill of -11. Usually do my laps around the property to get my steps in. Normal morning is 9 laps for 3 miles. Today did one lap and decided the recumbent would have to do.
I hope y'all have a happy Birthday celebration!

Typical New Hamps 20+ inches and balmy 4° when I got up 😏😘. Yup shorts.

10' snowbanks 😲😳🐖👈

Scalped road last night best I could to facilitate melting.

County won’t see or grate this road but maybe once in late spring.

Had doe run across road with coyote right behind her, pretty cool sight to see. Not so much for Doe.

Bobby, could you get some of that boxed up and overnight shipped by train to to AZ via NorfolkandWaypal?
Be careful what you dream. One year when we were students at ASU in the dinosaur age there were news stories about shipping snow out of Flagstaff on rail cars.

i left coop door open last week, came to farm, chicken massacre, 6 dead, 1 injured, tried to Dr her up, died yesterday. 5 birds disappeared, 1 dead, 1 injured. not sure if it was owls, coyotes, or a dog. Wild dog hanging round since. time to SSS

i'm in the doghouse right now, hard to deal with after all the work and effort. Debra has told me the names of the missing.

This sucks, Kelsey has raccoon tail in her house at college. The same coon that got into ducks and massacred them all. Trapped him, shot him then Kelsey names him Gary and skins him.

When they cut Ice on the laked years ago! In the 30s they stored in Ice houses and covered with hay and would last to July or September 😘.
