How hard is it to do a spring over on a 101
 
A 10 year old could do it. Rock simple

Whats involved? Unbolt the u bolts and pull the axle out and rebolt in on underneath?

I looked at it and thought it would be easy. But didn't know if it was as simple as it looked.

I belong to the Yahoo M101CDN2 group and there are a couple of folks that have done write ups on their SOA, you may want to try there. I don't know how much lift you want ,but the leaf spring mounting points are bolted to the frame. You could insert spacers there for a small amount of lift. You could also use lift shackles. None of these are free like a SOA would be but they are alternatives.
 
Youhave to rotate the drums 180 degrees for the brakes to work
