How do you remove busted hub pins?

A busted stud? Try tapping the easy out into the hole with a hammer so it gets a good bite, if that doesn't work drill the hole deeper and try again and if that doesn't work then try going to a bigger bit and easy out...

Hi Jerod... not the studs... the shear pin(s). Two of them, located between the studs.

got them out! combination of turning and pulling...

Thanks for the input!

As I was responding to Jerod, it dawned on me that a third hand might help to pull while I was turning the easy out to maintain pressure on it...

so before I began removing the caliper, I gave it a whirl. The 1st came right out... the second fought a bit but then gave up and slid out.

so I chase the threads, install the new studs, life is good... where are those new pins I bought so I can this project up?? CAnnot find them. Looked everywhere. Lost! Lost all day! got hot, started drinking, swimming and eating... so much for that!

get in the car to go to work this morning, there they are! Basturds.

so it looks like I'll finish this up tonight... and I have two extra pins to replace them on the other side.

That's just how retirement works also, Tony.'Cept the part about gettin' up and going to work :D
