How do I remove the headrests? Help!

I need to remove the headrests on a '96 LX470 with DVDs. I can raise them high enough to get them loose,but the problem is the wires powering the DVDs. They seem to be continuous as the emerge from the center console, go under and then up through the insides of the seatback, and then on up to the DVD inside the headrest mounting tubes. I can't find anyway to disconnect those wires!Help!Any hints?

Research on line your model of DVD screen, and look for where the power disconnect is- it's either in the unit in the head rest, or on a pigtail inside the seat back, I'd be surprised if there wasn't one. You may just have to dig into it more to find it.. again finding a picture of your screen ahead of time may help.

And you either have a '96 LX450, or a '98+ LX470.. not that it's even germane to the issue here.
