So i have my fj45 sitting pretty with the OME Heavy kit - which i chose due to the weight i thought i would be loading - as it turns out however, i think i my have over-estimated the heavy duty-ness they provide...[and the wife is not so much a fan of the rigid ride] ...so i am now wondering which leaf/leaves to remove to make it a little more humane...

Make sure your shackle bolts are not too tight.

The Fj45 is a truck, it will always ride like a truck. You could load something in the truck and drive it for awhile, a month. Some = Load of Green Fresh Cut Firewood. The springs will soften a bit but it is still a truck.

How many springs do you have in the pack now?

I don't think there are trees in Oman. ;p maybe he could put a load of rocks or sand in there..

I pulled the center leaf out of the rear springpack of the mini and it improved nicely. Not too difficult.

How many miles do you have since the OME install? i knda felt like you at first with my HD on my BJ42. But now after 3000 miles they are are fine and i would even make the rear stiffer. in other words if you just installed them, wait at least 1000 miles.
