Asking $15,000.

I am deciding to sell my silver 2006 Toyota Land Cruiser. I purchased it in January 2024 and have put 2K miles on it driving a few days a week to work and around town on the weekends.
I am choosing to sell because I bought this as a side vehicle and unfortunately haven’t driven or built it like I thought I would. My wife and I have an 9 month old and want to buy a bigger house, so I could use the cash more than the car at this point.

Key Notes:
  1. 224,000 miles.
  2. 100% Stock OEM.
  3. Idles smooth, quiet as a mouse, drives straight and rides like a dream.
  4. Minimal surface rust underneath.
  5. Has some rust underneath the rear bumper cover. Is not structural. Only rust-related item that I can nit-pick.
  6. 100% mechanically sound & operational.
  7. Stock AHC suspension system operates as it should and adjusts quickly.
  8. Interior is exceptional. Few scratches on the silver trim piece around the shifter knob.
  9. Does have that common driveshaft “clunk” but is only when shifting from R -> D.
  10. Minor dings, chips and scratches (mostly the hood & bumpers) but the paint is otherwise clean.
  11. Fairly new all-terrains.
  12. Clean TX title in-hand. I purchased the car in Jan. 2024 but only just changed the title in May after deciding I wanted to sell the car. Can prove this via documentation.
Maintenance items under my ownership:
  1. Timing belt (dealer)
  2. Belt tensioner (dealer)
  3. Pulleys on the idler assembly (dealer)
  4. Water pump & seals (dealer)
  5. Valve Cover gasket (dealer)
  6. Coolant seals (dealer)
  7. Serpentine drive belt (dealer)
  8. AHC fluid flush & refill (D.I.Y.)
  9. Oil change (D.I.Y.)
  10. Driveshaft grease (D.I.Y)
Maintenance items needed in the near future but aren’t due/necessary yet:
  1. Dealer who did the timing belt/water pump told me brakes in the next 5-10k miles. Brakes operate just fine, feels good and are silent.
  2. Simple drivetrain fluid flush and refills including diff, transmission and transfer case. Planned on DIY’ing this but life hasn’t allowed the time. Haven’t driven it enough to worry about it. Thought about taking it to Valvoline this weekend and letting them punch it all out at once. Will update if I do.
  3. Driver-side CV could use a new boot but isn’t leaking anything.
  4. Heater T’s. Not sure if they’ve ever been replaced but there are no signs of coolant leaks - confirmed by dealer that tore it down and inspected everything.
  5. Ball joints & bearing repacks.
  6. There is a check engine light that comes & goes. Code # P0456 and every time I run it just says to check the gas cap. Not worried about it haven’t had it professionally diagnosed.
Not sure what else I need to include or mention. I have receipts for everything that I’ve spent money on during my ownership and have kept a nice spreadsheet maintenance log that I can share. When I bought the car a Lexus service center gave the car a complete look-over and gave it a thumbs-up and we took care of the priority items. Recently had someone do a complete interior & exterior detail and buff wax so she’s looking fresh. I’ve got tons of photos and can make a google album or something.

HMU with any questions - cheers fellas.

Hey!

I’m interested in connecting about this vehicle. What are the date codes on the tires? Like the color and service history. Need something spacious for myself, wife and two driving teenagers (plus a dog) this fits the bill.
