Nice work! I am thinking about spacers myself. Can wait to see before and after pics.

thanks man, ill get some posted tomorrow! :D

couple of before and after pics. If you're wondering why I just did spacers and not a full lift, it's because I'm trying to do everything on this as cheap as possible (I know that's nearly impossible on these rigs) I'm just setting it up for a reliable capable DD that I can take camping and light wheeling and not worry. So the next phase will be armor all around.

just wait and see what I'm doing. There won't be much sag at all.

not much of an update but got some parts in. I ordered the 4xinnovations mounting kit for my sliders. Mainly to save me the time measuring, cutting, grinding and finding the right hardware.....and let me say this kit is worth every penny ($220 to my door) :bounce: going to pick up some tube this week to get to the fun part. :D

she's all lubed up :D I actually just went from the Y pipe back from bosal. I havent seen anything on the header either. Ordered from rockauto.

Matty, do you have the exhaust part numbers and prices? My 97 LC needs the same thing and tax $ just came in!!

Thanks

I don't have the part #'s anymore but what I ordered was the bosal exhaust from the manifold back with all the gaskets from rockauto. I had to replace all the rubber bushings that are on the exhaust hangers as well. We have some thick rubber around so we just used that but I'm sure you could order them from mr. T. I probably would have ordered studs and nuts for the manifold as well. Mine were fine I would've just liked to replaced them looking back.

Edit : I didn't find the part #'s but I found my packing slip and all the parts were $665 shipped

not much progress but I did pick up a 13.5" LED light bar from mic tuning that i am going to mount up front sometime soon.

finally got around to picking up a fullsize spare for $20 annd my radiator let go at the crimps. started slow but got a lot worse so i messaged beno and got a new rad. my oil pump gasket was leaking pretty bad as well so I ordered that along with torx screws for the cover, front crank seal, idler pulley and dizzy o-ring just in case that was leaking too.

Nice truck and great thread. I lived in CT and spent some time in Summit Co and have recently picked up an 80 (and ski a lot) so it's fun to read. Also used my first shot ski this winter in VT : ). Nice work. Oh, also have chrome stock LX wheels that I'm in process of plasti dipping. Uncanny.

Thanks for sharing!

looks like shes coming along nicely. i have the same LED bar and it works great! i used it last weekend and had it on for over 2 hours straight with no problems
