Gloria's 100 has had the infamous manifold tick for years, but it's finally gotten to where it doesn't go away when warm. Had a set of group buy Doug Thorley headers in the garage just waiting for a year, so I decided to do them this weekend......................and what shows up completely unexpected today? Her just about forever backordered Borla exhaust .............compliments of Borla and the the Yankee Toys FG raffle. :grinpimp:

I seriously doubt this setup will be quieter than the exhaust leak. If anyone is around and wants to help me curse at a "new" truck or laugh at me trying to fit 10# of headers in a 5# size engine bay............just stop by.

My hands are still recovering from a weekend of wedging them in places they don't belong. ;)

I was really worried that it would be to loud, even took video........................there is no practical difference in sound at normal rpm. Mind you, this is for a couple grandparents where typical operation is less than 3k.

Took it for a test drive and really wound it out and it definately had more power and sound at high rpm, but we just never go there. So overall :meh: the exhaust leak is fixed. Maybe I'll get better mileage, but replacing the O2 sensors at the same time has thrown off that expirement.

Highlight of the weekend was cutting the huge polished stainless steel tip off the exhaust since it wouldn't fit through the trailer hitch. :hillbilly:
