As I have the head out and replacing the PHH and other hoses, noted the hoses for the trans cooling. When should you think about changing these as they are below the intake and would be very hard when the engine is back together. Any ideas on that?

Man do these rigs have a lot of hose.......

Thanks,

hoses are cheeper than a tow bill.......I change all of mine after about 7 years or when they get soft...

One of the first things I did to my rig as PM was to basically replace every rubber hose in the engine compartment and to get underneath the thing and re-tape all of the electrical black tape areas underneath.

Best to spend a few hundred on this stuff rather than be stuck on the side of the road because of a worn hose or electrical connection.

Change'em out and be done with it for another 100K.

Cheers.
