My '99 has developed a very loud creak from the driver's side front suspension area. It's so loud it is almost embarassing to drive it. If you push down on the right front fender it makes a sound very like a door creaking in a horror movie. The noise is there both on the down and up movement.
Pulled the wheel and tried spraying various parts one at a time with WD followed by levering the hub up and down with a board. Sound is still there but now is more like a squeak. Put the wheel back on and bounced the fender. Sound is gone.
Checked again in about 15 minutes and noise is back louder than ever.
Upper and lower ball joints are good. Is there any component of the suspension more likely to make this noise? Or a better way of diagnosing? Any help much appreciated.

. This is a OLD video, about 30K later and some new bushings she's a "little" quieter, speed bumps are very annoying and loud.
