Hoping to get some pictures to help with this FJ55 hinge. (1 Viewer)

Looking for all you smart folks to help me understand more about this hinge and get some pictures of the hinge in place. In it's natural environment so to speak.

A friend asked for me to make a replacement so I thought about machining it out of aluminum and adding a stainless steel shoulder bolt and oil impregnated bronze bushings.

Here is where I'm hoping you can help.
What years did this hinge come on? Only FJ55?
Is it for the back rest if the back seat?
Is this a replacement part people would need (how common)?
And finally, a few pictures of the hinge mounted would be very helpful.

That's a hinge for the back seat. Pics in a minute

Ask at the sty.
Someone has an extra they can sell you far cheaper than manufacturing your own.

That's the hinge for the back seat, probably most years. Probably just 55 but I wouldn't put it past Toyota to have used it elsewhere.
It's so the back seat can fold flat.
Funnily enough, I have after-market hinges of some kind on my Pig. I found them on some other Pig I was stripping years ago. They're slightly beefier than the OEM, and aluminum...
I've not heard of these breaking, suppose it's possible. I kept them cuz they're different and cool.
Are they a later year OEM update improvement? Handmade project? Off-the-shelf something that magically fits? Dunno.
