Installed new Hood and tailgate struts on my 99 LC. Both were closing on me. I bought both off EBay from Hatcharms4less. I paid a little over $40.00 per set for both front and rear. He combined shipping and I received them in 4 days. They installed easily. Took about 15-20 minutes total. Both hood and tailgate now lift unaided after the first few inches of travel again.
