hood release

Can anyone tell me if the hood release pull( the part that reads hood) can be obtained without getting a whole pull mechanism? Mine is broken, but the release works fine- Thanks

My hood release is weak as all get out. I have to yank on it hard a few times in a row and if I'm lucky the hood will pop. Gives the guys at the oil change place the fits.

Try raising the hood stops on the front corners of your rig. A little bit will cause more tenson and let the hood "pop" up easier. As far as the handle try the parting out section here on mud

i need to pull my hood popper with 2 hands as hard as i can. hope it doesn't bust on me. maybe i can rig a greas nip 1/2 way down the line?
