When my hood is down and latched there seems to be a tiny bit of play in it. Is this normal? What i mean is when the hood is latched and you stick your fingers under it, it will move up and down, just a tad. Normal?

Adjust (unscrew) the bumpers on the front corners of the hood to take up the slack:
