I need to fix my AC now that the 80 is the DD. This summer I had it recharged after it stopped blowing gold. All the freon leaked out in about an hour. Like a fool I didnt have the shop add dye. Far as I can tell the leak is in the dash. I want to get it fix but not really to excited about taking my truck to a shop I know nothing about with a open check book and say "Fix my truck."

Can anyone recommend I shop that is trustworthy?

Howdy! Sounds like an Oxymoron to me. If your rig is still running R12 it is going to be expensive. If it is running the newer stuff, then you can get everything you need to pump it up and add dye at your local parts store. Sorry, can't help you on a shop. John

Doesn't Phil own all the R12 in the valley - I seem to remember a post like that... :D
