Honduras Trip Coming Up! :bounce:

I usually only share these updates on our company Facebook page, but I figured my MUD peeps would appreciate certain aspects of this trip...so here ya go.:hillbilly:

Stay tuned everybody for lots of updates as we are about 2 weeks out from a trip to Honduras. We have a lot of activities slated for this trip as it will likely be our last visit before the final move!

Missions...:)
We are excited as always to share the Gospel while being able to feed and generally better the lives of the people through helping them. Stayed tuned for pictures of the people in need and the joy in there eyes as we get to be the hands and feet of Jesus!

Coffee Lovers...:bang:
You can count on some coffee action for sure. We have lots of work to do on this front. We will be slating out our mountain property for the planting season coming up and are currently planning on planting around 2,500 to 5,000 plants per manzana in the coming planting season. So we will be evaluating the land as to what portions of it are ready for planting and what will need work.

Off road action...:steer:
There will be some off road action as always for our off road followers. Watch out for "I spotted a cool rig" pictures and I'll see what I can do to get some poser pics of us in our rental Toyota Hilux! It's always fun to drive there as many of the roads resemble our off-road parks here in the states.

Meet Up...
If you are in Honduras we would love to meet you, just let us know and let's see if we can't make it happen!

Wanna Help...:D
We here to serve the people of Honduras and we are only two families and essentially one income seeing this through, so if you find your self wondering how you can help please don't hesitate to ask us. You can send us a message through Facebook or send us an email and we can see how we can work together!

We are excited to start this company and grateful to God for giving us the strength and provisions along the way to see it through. Although there is still much to be done, we are getting closer and are happy to share the journey with you all!

Here's some pics from one of our previous trips...

This photo was taken just about 5 min down the mountain from our property entrance. For those that like this stuff the truck to the left is our rental truck and it's a 4 door Mazda turbo diesel and it seemed like a decent truck. The stream you see here comes from different places up the mountain and one of which is our land and dumps in the main river below.

Here we were going over the land survey with Merary who we bought our land from. This is also Lil' Daniel's first trip out of the country. Far left is me (Daniel) and Lil' D, then middle is German (our partner) and far right is Merary.

Ha, are those pop rivets holding the badges on?

I think so actually! I'm thinking they do that to keep people from stealing them.

Thank you very much my friend for your encouraging words. I'm glad to hear such a great story! We are here to serve and are very happy to be on this Adventure! God Bless.

Muchas gracias a mi amigo por tus palabras de aliento. Me alegro de oír una historia tan grande! Estamos aquí para servirle y estamos muy contentos de estar en esta aventura! Dios los bendiga.

Ok things are going well! Lots of good progress on all fronts, but things move slow in Latin America so it takes time. :D

We are discussing how to start feeding and ministering to the very poor kids on Sundays and it's going to go great!

The Hilux D-4D is a great truck, but I've noticed the diesels have a harder time going up steep slopes in 2WD unlike our V8 4R in the states.
EDIT: I meant steep and rough terrain, not just steep. ;)

On to some random pics...

I will be heading to the Mayan ruins in Belize/South East Mexico in Dec. :p

Belize is beautiful. We will be taking someone to the ruins amongst other tourist spots in about a week.
