Homemade cargo barrier?

Has anyone made their own cargo barrier? I just got a qoute for $429 from milford--more than I want to spend. Mostly wondering about attachment points.
 
If you feel around the sides, by the back seat, near the top, you'll find holes for rear seat shoulder harnesses. These work very well for the top mounting points

To my understanding not all 60's have these holes.
