Got a spool gun for the welder and thought id put it to use in building an alum roof rack. The rack is 4ft by 5ft, mounts are just universal defender mounts. Its nice and light and i am happy withh how it turned out.

Looks good! What does the cross members look like? Cost?
will it hold a roof top tent? What does it weigh? It must be pretty light if it's aluminum? It looks good !

And to answer your question about it holding up a roof top tent burnin4x4 im not sure the most ill be putting up there is my spare and highlift, and other misc. things. I'm not to familiar with the roof top tents but i would assume it would be fine.
