We have a Holley 2 Barrel Model 4160 (P/N 7448) on our 1976 FJ40 and there is this small hose on the right side (if you are in the vehicle) by the fuel bowl where does that line go and what is it for? Another question is where does the vacuum booster hose for the brakes run to, the intake or where? If anyone is running a Holley carb on their cruiser much help is needed for hooking up vacuum lines and other such lines. Anyone have like a diagram for running a Holley carb on a FJ40? Help and feedback is much needed and appreciated.

ported vacuum. vacuum booster goes to intake manifold vaccum. so, to the approx 10mm nipple on the rear runner of the intake.

you might get better response with all the holley carb questions in one thread.

A holley manual will spell out alot of your questions, and a toyota factory service manual will help with the others.

There is no such thing as a Model 4160 2-bbl. The Model 4160 is a 4-bbl.

The 2-bbl version of a 4150 & 4160 is the Model 2300.

Generally, though, Model 2300 hose connections are the same as the 4160.

Ported vacuum gets its vacuum from above the throttle plates, and is used with most older carbed engines with a vacuum advance carb. This is the port on the side of the metering plate, on the RH side of the carb. Full vacuum, on the base, should not be used for most older applications.

You really should get a Holley manual.
