So, like a lot of us owners in CA, the dreaded Smog Check was upon me... And I quickly realized that after being labeled a "Gross Polluter" by the computer, this process was going to take some time and work..... I jaunted down to the DMV this morning to request a Registration Extention, maybe 30 days or so.... The lady behind the countert was nice enough, and asked a few questions... one of which was "when did the car last pass smog".... I told her that the previous owner had passed in January, and I showed her the certificate..... A few more minutes of clacking computer keys... and then..... Out from the printer came my registration and she handed me my sticker...!!! "Happy Holidays" was all she said with a smile... I couldn't believe it..!!! Talk about awesome..!!! So now i'm resting easy knowing that most likely I'll have to do the whole thing again next year.... But this year.....was the best...

Guys... I just bought this truck.... As soon as the funds allow, it's going back to it's factory color.....WHITE......NICE....!!! but until then, cut me a break...please..!!
