hj75 and hzj79 gearbox question

hello. im going to do a 5 speed conversion on my hj47. i have a gearbox out of a hj75. supposedly this will bring the geastick levers back a bit.
what i need to know is can i use the transfer lever off a hzj79 and put it on the hj75 transfer case? the transfer lever looks more forward on the hzj79 than the hj75, hopefully the right amount forward.

Not sure about the lever but
the hzj79 run a r151 gbox
the hj znd hzj 75s run the h55 box these boxs are very different to the 79 box
