Due to tax reasons (See thread) I'm looking for alternatives for my HJ61 with 12HT. Pain in my heart as HJ61 with 12HT is still the best combination.

Prefer exchange for J6 (or similar rig) with XL petrol engine as long as it has first registration 1986 or earlier.

Nice truck. Wish you were closer! Not sure what's involved in getting it here? Money I'm sure lol You'll need to post a price. ;)

LHD over there?! Good to know! Beautiful rig and good luck with the sale. Sorry about the circumstances

Yup. LHD over here.

Usually the HJ61 12HT outprices the FJ62 petrol by far. But with new tax system starting 2014 the petrol car will "pay itself back". Kind of.....

Shipping depends a lot on port. Here in NL of course Rotterdam. But shipping to LA or New Orleans is a big difference. But there are companies specialized in shipping cars between USA and Europe.

That is a nice truck. You should come up with a price in USD as it is old enough for us Yanks to own.

I drove an hj61 for a few hours once and even with an automatic that 12ht had a lot of pop! Actually needed a light touch on the throttle when accelerating.

Any interest in a 97 fzj80 40th with lockers that is in very good condition? Located on the left coast of USA.

Why is NL penalizing diesel rigs?

Diesels are penalized for "environmental" reasons. Common excuse for getting more money. Actually also GPL car suffer the same tax. Even if more green than petrol cars.

So it comes down to money.

I prefer a rig with 1st registration 1986 or earlier. But would be nice to have a picture of your car.
