Hello from Austria!

I own a "Frankenstein" Toyota HJ60 which has a rebuild 12h-T and a retrofitted A/C.

Problem is, the fuel pump doesn´t have the A/C actuator and this part is nowhere to be found. If anybody has that part i´d be happy to get it.

Other than that, can anyone tell me if you could fit an actuator from a new model land cruiser (j7,j8 etc.) or form other toyota vehicles like the coaster or something?

Or did anyone fit a "universal" actuator?

THanks, and sorry if this info is already somewhere, i couldn´t find it.

BR Christopher

I don't think that any of us have found one that works, good luck with the search though, and if you do find one be sure to share the information. :)

During my rebuild I noticed mine was broken. I bought one that works but doesn't function as well as I'd like. I gave up after a few months of looking.

From my experience you don't need the idle up for the A/C at all. I deleted mine years ago in favor for a damper setup I built back then.
The 12HT happily pulls the A/C at idle without too much notice. Nice to have but not so important in my point of view.

Hello!

Thanks for all the replies!! I’ll keep the part number you posted for sure and in case anyone from the german forums asks for advice.

My engine shut down 3-4 times when i first drove with the aftermarket A/C on. It was sitting at 650ish idle as it should. I raised the idle since to 750ish and it’ms ok now.

Other than that i found an OEM idle up actuator via a “buschtaxi” forum member.

Thanks again for all the inputs.
Best regards from austria
Christopher
