installed turbo on 1988 2h....concerned about egt.....installed pdi front mount intercooler....currently running 10 pounds & having 800 egt max....any thoughts on improving performance or is this factory 2h tuned to her limits w/ out engine rebuild? appreciate the comments

I ran 7psi on mine with noticeable difference. Must remember though, these take a turbo well, but they aren't 5.9 Cumminses, and so you'll kill her if you boost her too much run her too hot.

I have the 12ht and I believe the block is girdled for strength, the 2H block is not. My stock boost is around 10 psi, I imagine that you’d be safe to do the same. Have you installed an EGT gauge and sensor? I would definitely add that to your project. Auber instruments is a good one.

How’s driving it compared to when it was N/A big difference? Better on the highway?
